45+ people met at Rudy's in White Bear Lake to celebrate our 70th birthdays.  We had a beautiful venue by the pool with a bounty of appetizers and an Open Bar.

It was so great to have an evening with old friends and be able to visit.  There were a lot of "Do you remember....." and "What are you doing now?"  "How's your family?"

And I must say for being 70 years old we all looked really good.

We will plan another gathering sometime after Easter of 2016.  The information regarding that event

will be posted here on this blog.

Thank you to all who were able to attend our 50^th Reunion events.  We had over 145 people attend the Friday evening dinner.  Many people along with their significant others commented that they really enjoyed the evening.  Thank you to Phil Stuemke for your great job as emcee.  Thank you also to Scot O'Malley for providing the back to the 60s tunes.  On Saturday we had a large turn out for the tour of the old high school.  We had quite a few that attended the St. Croix boat trip on the "Avalon".

Our Memory Books were provided to classmates attending the reunion dinner.  They include graduation pictures along with information on the "found" classmates.  They also include a memorial section including class pictures devoted to the classmates who are deceased.  If you were unable to attend and would like to receive a booklet, we will be reprinting them.  The cost is $5.00 which includes printing, postage and handling.  A check should be made out to "Mary Shuh" (our Treasurer) and sent to:  Ellie (Holt) Leimer, PO Box 304, Chanhassen, MN 55317 who will be processing the orders.  If you have any questions, please call her at 612-396-0322.

 Our Reunion Planning Committee held a follow-up meeting this week.  We will be planning a "Happy 70^th Birthday" reunion for two years from now.  This will be a casual get together and we will send out more information at a later date.
